Clyst Hydon 1st XI v Feniton
Will Gregg with four wickets and Kevin Sercombe with three bowled Clyst Hydon to a 16-run win over Feniton in a game of see-sawing fortunes.
Clyst made 223 for three in their 46 overs
Ian Sutton looked good for his 92 at the top of the order for Clyst, as he put on 85 for openers with Steve Doyle (28). Graham Trude (29no) and Clinton Lewis (37no) kept it going after Sutton got out at 149. Then Trude and Lewis put on 86 unbroken in the last 9 over to get Clyst to a comfortable score.
The chase looked hopeless, but no one told the Feniton lower order who almost pulled it off until Gregg (4-59) and Sercombe (3-50) had their say
A good all round catching and feilding performance from the Clyst boys saw off the arch rivals.
