Clyst Hydon v Plymtree (friendly)
The skies indicated a storm was brewing and light drizzle before the game suggested that any play would be a bonus.
In fact no rain fell at all and this local derby provided some very entertaining moments indeed, with Plymtree finally running out the winners after establishing a batting total of 196 - 5 which proved to be too good for the Clyst Hydon team which was missing some key players.
Clyst Hydon eventually ending up with 160 all out, however, a fantastic score of 46 (n.o) by Stuart Eaglesome was a welcome return to form!
Brian Harvey was the pick of the bowlers taking 4 and was ably supported by Bob Gittsham, Dom Carswell and Bruce Wilkinson who all bowled well.
