Clyst Hydon v H.M Treasury (friendly) 15th June 2008

Clyst lost the toss and the visitors decided to bat in a reduced 30 overs game and could only manage a modest score of 145 all out in 30 overs with suberb bowling from overseas player D. Nandana taking 4-21 from his 5 overs.
In reply the home team were always cruising and got off to a good start with P. Harris a useful 52 n.o, C. Lewis chipped in with 28 and Nandana was in a hurry scoring 31 off 14 balls to seal a victory with 12.2 overs to spare to finish off 146 for 3

A good 7 wicket victory and two wins on the trot now for skipper 'Hoggy' who hopes he can keep the winning trend going after 3 losses on the bounce ("Steady on Clinton!" - Ed.) to start the season with.
