Clyst Hydon 1st XI vs Stoke Gabriel
CLYST LOSE AGAIN AWAY FROM HOME
Clyst hydon lost again away to Stoke Gabriel on a wet windy day where the wicket was green, soggy and diffucult to bat on.
Winning the toss Stoke were put in by Clyst skipper after have a close look at the wicket, and seemed to be the right decision which had Stoke struggling at 47 for 7 after 20 overs, the early damage cause by K.Sercombe taking the first 3 wickets.
But Jamie Day(41) batted really well with some huge hits along with N.Sandbrook (19) to take the score to a paltry 126, D.Nandana finished with 6-43 and Sercombe 3-28 doing all the damage.
In reply Clyst started really badly and were 19 for 6 in the first 14 overs, only resistance came from W.Grieg who scored 25 to take clyst to 95 all out.
The star bowlers for Stoke were N.Sandbrook 6-27 and M.Jackson 3-20.
