Clyst Hydon vs Feniton (Evening League Cup Semi-Final) 18/06/09
Clyst booked their place in the Cup Final with a 34-run victory at home to local rivals Feniton. Clyst made 175-4 from 20 overs, Mike Cliff top scoring with 42 but with good contributions from John Rhodes (35), Richard Baggs (34) & Ian Sutton (26). Chris Hayden took 2-51 for the visitors.
In reply, Feniton were up with the rate early on but their middle order had no answer to Mike Johnson (4-25) and finished 34 runs short on 141-8. R. Pfeiffer made a quickfire 49 before being stumped by Ian Sutton off Johnson, which effectively sealed the visitors' fate.
