Shobrooke Park vs Clyst Hydon 1st XI
CLYST HYDON LOSE AGAIN
Well Clyst Hydon could not ask for a worse season as they were defeated by Shobrooke Park for the 6th time in succession.
Batting first with conditions favouring the bowling, Clyst got off to a slow but decent start just losing R.Corney cheaply, to be sat at 97 for 1 in 23 overs, Ian Sutton stayed there as long as he could for his 21 but was out in the 25th over but P.Harris (53) battled really well along with C.Lewis (37 no) took the score to a respectable 189 in 46 overs, the highest score in 4 games!
But with a depleted bowling attack the home team cruised to victory scoring 193 for 2, James top scoring with 86 no but was dropped 4 times.
Will Greig and Lewis took 1 wicket each.
